Alicia Janes

Alicia is an Assistant Psychologist with a BSc in Psychology from the University of Leeds and has worked at the clinic since October 2025. Her previous experience includes providing one-to-one support to children with ADHD and autism, including those with complex mental health needs. This, alongside her work at the clinic, has developed her interest in individualised approaches and in understanding how people’s experiences can be shaped by a range of psychological and environmental factors.

Alongside her clinical work, Alicia has a strong interest in psychological research and neuroimaging and has contributed to research in this area. Alicia is particularly interested in making psychological ideas accessible and relevant, helping clients develop a clearer understanding of their experiences and the factors that may influence them.

Alicia brings a calm and thoughtful approach to her work, with a focus on listening to each person and understanding their individual needs and experiences.
