About James
James combines strong academic training with hands-on experience supporting vulnerable populations. He holds a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Forensic Psychology, giving him a solid foundation in evidence-based practice.
James has experience working in educational settings supporting young individuals with complex needs, including autism, ADHD, OCD, and trauma histories. This experience has given him a practical understanding of neurodiversity, crisis support, and the importance of tailoring care to the individual.
In addition to his front-line work, he has a strong interest in research and has co-authored a published study on the debriefing processes used after restrictive interventions in forensic environments. This research reflects his commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and reducing restrictive measures in care settings.
